While I love to the skin care products available through stayclearskin.com, some of the beauty products I use are from CVS Pharmacy. Yes, you can get benefits from drugstore beauty products. I had a coupon for Garnier Ultra-Lift 2-in-1 Wrinkle Reducer and had tried a demonstrator at CVS when the product first came out and liked the feel of it on my skin . Well, I finally purchased it and use it first thing in the morning after cleansing and toning my skin. It goes on smoothly and is quickly absorbed. However, I’m in my fifties and while I have semi oily/sensitive skin, I need more moisturization than what Garnier Ultra-Lift has to offer. So I apply CVS All Day Moisture Lotion for Sensitive Skin afterwards. It’s the equivalent of Olay Complete, which I also use. The CVS version and the real thing, Olay Complete, provide the same results — perfectly balanced moisturized skin. Benefits include: SPF sunscreen, Vitamin E and Aloe, UVA and UVB protection, and light, non-greasy. Ultra-Lift helps minimize wrinkles, but even my semi-oily skin needs more moisturization.
By the way, never wash your face with bar soap. My personal favorite is Olay Foaming Face Wash for sensitive skin (mousse nettoyante pour le visage peau sensible en francais). Another one of the great drugstore beauty products. It deep cleanses without drying your skin. I usually use Witch Hazel as a toner, but use other reasonably priced toner products like CVS Skin Purifying Astringent for sensitive skin. The camphor and Eucalyptus Leaf Oil remove trapped oil, dirt and makeup at the end of the day, and smooth the surface of your skin and tighten pores after cleansing in the morning. It may take a little getting used to the camphorated scent, but your skin will reap the benefits from this most natural and refreshing feeling solution.
I’ve told you about my personal regimen for cleansing, toning and moisturizing skin when you’re on a budget. Try Olay products and your can’t go wrong. And CVS’ copycat products are just as good.

When you create a website, you have to ask yourself, “Why would anyone come to my website to buy anything? What can my site offer as compared to other sites in my niche?” At the advice of my eCommerce instructor, StayClearSkin started out as a store and early on I thought just selling skin products was rather uninteresting and decided to write articles so visitors would find something of value other than competitive pricing.

We spend lots of time and money on trying to find the best skin products to make us look great. You slather expensive (and sometimes not so expensive) skin creams on your face and see improvement in your skin’s overall condition and texture. However, some of us see bumps under our skin, yet we don’t have acne. It may be because we don’t have a healthy diet.
Constipation is bad for the appearance of your skin
Constipation adversely affects your circulation and may be the cause of many skin problems like blemishes, dry skin, and even pimples and acne. To have radiant skin all our systems have to be in balance–i.e. your intestines and blood circulation.
Pay attention to your diet — when and what you eat — to promote a healthy bowel. That way you get clearer, lovelier skin and will be able to more easily maintain your weight. This is as good an anti-aging routine as the most highly recommended skin care products.
Eating a healthy, balanced diet should lead to healthy skin. If your skin is a source of worry to you, talk to your doctor or a dermatologist. Before you start taking vitamins or vitamin supplements, consult a physician. Once your get your doctor’s approval, here are the vitamins that can benefit your skin:
Vitamins for Healthier, More Radiant Skin
Niacin (B-3) is essential for healthy skin and hair. It also reduces cholesterol levels. Niacin improves your blood circulation, which carries oxygen, vitamins or minerals throughout your body. Take Niacin to prevent dry, cracking or rough, flaky skin.
Vitamin C allows your skin to grow and repair itself. It also helps your wounds heal. Vitamin C acts as an antioxidant, protecting your skin from free radicals such as harmful sun rays or radiation.
Also consider taking Vitamin H (biotin). You have to have the correct amount of biotin in your body or you may experience dry, scaly skin or cracking in the corners of your mouth (cheilitis).
And don’t forget Vitamin A for your eyes and skin. Vitamin A helps new cells grow and develop, and also boosts your immune system due to its antioxidant properties.
So don’t neglect your diet, and ask your doctor if you can take vitamins.
To look your best on the outside, you have to take care of yourself on the inside. If you’ve been neglecting to eat the right foods, start thinking about ways to make sure you have a healthy diet.
